Welcome to my Personal Website
From 2007 till 2017 I have been a professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece. In 2017 I became Professor of Practice (non-tenured position) with the Computer Science Department of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, USA.
My research work focuses on various problems in Statistics and Statistical signal processing as Adaptive signal processing algorithms, Communication signal processing and Sequential detection (the latter constitutes my favorite research area). My recent research targets problems in Machine learning, Deep Learning, Generative adversarial networks (GANs) and their application to Sequential detection.
Surfing my website provides detailed information on my academic and research activity and electronic access to all my articles, theses and reports.
